This is a super late post. I actually celebrate friend's birthday here last year and I blogged now #epicfailed. Seriously exactly one year after!  We want to have dinner at La Risata at first for some pizza, steak and wine. But something wrong with my waze that night and ngam-ngam spotted Antipodean's billboards byside. So we decided to have our birthday dinner at Antipodean @ Tan & Tan.  Anyway, it's a good try for me to have Antipodean at night haha. I think no one go Antipodean for dinner except us. The restaurant have only us five person for the whole night.  Very signature flower for Antipodean. They have fresh carnation everyday on table.  Refreshing Lemonade. Couldn't go for caffeinated drinks ; ( Pumpkin sage feta pasta. Aromatic sage pairs well with pumpkin puree :) Grilled chicken with tomato, green beans and balsamic vinegar. Chimek was create a craze in Malaysia, Taiwan and China with the hit K-drama, My Love From Another Star. Choon Song Yii, the main character loves chimek.  " Chimek " is coming from "chi" is short for chicken and "mek" for mekju, the korean word for beer.  Kyochon is one of the largest Korean fried chicken resturants in South Korea They starts expanded globally to USA, Thailand, Indonesia, China and of course Malaysia.  Kyochon 1991 @ One Utama.   The first chimek shop in Malaysia :) Kyochon has grown as the leader in chicken industry. Another road trip with friends after Ipoh ( previous post ); we were target at Sekinchan this time.  Fyi, Sekinchan is a well known fishing village  which located north of KL. Other than that, it's one of the major rice supplier in Malaysia. This small town renown of its paddy field, seafood, fruits and swallow farm (bird nest). The best time to visit is around June and November, where the paddy field turns into golden color, ready for harvest.  You may see the paddy field on your right once you reach in Sekinchan.  Unable to grab breakfast before our departure. Just bought a box of fresh fruit rojak at Paddy Processing Factory before next destination.  Ah Ma House. Basically, Ah Ma House can consider as bakery shop that selling traditional biscuit and cakes. Don't miss out their 鸡蛋糕, pineapple tart, kuih bangkit and of course favourite kuih kapit. Auntie are making kuih kapit. Shop owner even placed all these very old-fashioned furniture. E
