[Closed] Bulgogi's Brother Malaysia Korean Royal Feast with New Hot Pot Cuisine

Thanks to Bulgogi Brother for sending invites to me for this tasting and review session for Bulgogi's Brothers Korean Royal Feast with New Hot Pot Cuisine. 

Just a quick one, "Bulgogi" is actually beef, one of Korea's most globally popular dishes that usually consists of grilled marinated beef. "Han-u" 韩牛 the quality cannot be questioned; the quality is first-rated.

At Bulgogi Brother, guest can feast on different kinds of bulgogi dishes right by the table, which has a built-in induction cooker. Aside from assorted bulgogi, Bulgogi Brothers also serves rice dishes, jigae (stew) and noodles. My must-try items at Bulgogi Brothers are Kimchi-Jigae and Haemul Doenjang Jigae.

Before that, a must for refillable banchan side dishes served. 

seasoned spinach, pumpkin paste, seasoned eggplant, kimchi, pickled vege and radish.

Beef and Mushroom Hot Pot // RM39.90
As you can see, this hot pot dish consists of vegetables, tender selection of beef and mushroom. There are some rice cakes (tteok) hide beneath of all these vegetables. By it's look, you can know this is very nutritious as mother always tell us take more vege and mushroom; they are good for your health. Okay, here you go.

If you wonder why there is a bowl of rice topped with raw egg and seaweed there. I will tell you more after this. 

After you finish all your beef and veges, mix the rice with broth and make it into satisfying rice porridge meal :) 

Spicy Ham and Sausage Hot Pot // RM39.90
This is a combination of American and Korean flavours. In Korea, they called this as Budae Jjigae 部队锅 which is korean soup similar to western stew. This dish incorporates of fiery chicken ham, sausages, rice cakes, bean sprouts, mushrooms, baked beans and assorted vegetables into a trditional spicy soup flavoured with gochujang (red chili paste). 

This gonna be paired with chewy instant noodle.

Seafood Pancake // RM27.90
A must have Korean style pancake with seafood and green onions. I like this :) 

Beef and Kimchi Hot Pot // RM39.90
This hot pot is cooked over kimchi broth with beef, vegetables, mandoo(korea dumpling), tofu and udon. This would be taste something like kimchi jjigae. The combination of this beef and kimchi hotpot and udon are turn out well because I think kimchi are taste better with rice and instant noodle. 

Spicy Seafood Hot Pot // RM52.90
This hot pot dish includes of fresh and plump clams, crab, prawns, mussels and squids, cooked over spicy broth, together with an array of vegetables.
This would be taste heavier than previous three hotpot because it contains all the fresh seafood in one pot. All the essence in this pot. This should pair with rice la. Must finish all the soup before you leave. Don't waste it : P

Okay, all these hot pot feast can be enjoyed in various ways with a selection of broth, noodles and rice to choose from.

My top list for Bulgogi Brothers Hot Pot Cuisine
1. Beef and Mushroom Hot Pot - This is a very mild and tasty hotpot which combine well with rice. 
2. Beef and Kimchi Hot Pot - No way to say "NO" to my all time favourite kimchi since I like kimchi jjigae.
3. Spicy Seafood Hot Pot - Fresh seafood but couldn't take too often else cholesterol.
4. Spicy Ham and Sausage Hot Pot - Overall okay but baked beans in soup sound weird but overall taste alright : )


I been Bulgogi Brothers before this for dinner. The dining experience at Bulgogi's Brothers are so "korea". The very contemporary interior design, K-pop music playing in the background (EXO, Sistar, 4-minute, SNSD, 2PM and etc; OMGGGGG!!), pleasant ambience and of course very attentive and gentle waitress.
