Kyochon 1991 @ One Utama

Chimek was create a craze in Malaysia, Taiwan and China with the hit K-drama, My Love From Another Star. Choon Song Yii, the main character loves chimek. 

"Chimek" is coming from "chi" is short for chicken and "mek" for mekju, the korean word for beer. 

Kyochon is one of the largest Korean fried chicken resturants in South Korea They starts expanded globally to USA, Thailand, Indonesia, China and of course Malaysia.

Kyochon has grown as the leader in chicken industry. Feeling excited while waiting for my chicken to be served. 

Salsal strips.

Boneless chicken reast strips coated in rice batter comes with honey mustard dipping sauce. These salsal strips is great for me. 

Original Soy Sauce Wingette and Drumette.
Surprisingly, fried chicken comes in small or maybe medium-sized compare to what we have in Malaysia fast food store. Younger chicken resulting in more tender meat maybe. 
The chickens are seasoned well with spices, sugar and salt, prior to and after being fried. It's flavorful without overdoing the flavor yet juicy.
